Thunder Valley Campground© is nestled in the heart of Thunder Valley USA. In the late 60's Bristol Motor Speedway was nick named Thunder Valley due to the beautiful valley it was built in and all the racing thunder that has been created at every race since. Thunder Valley Campground was created and built by Randy Moore the son of Carl Moore, one of the original founders of the Bristol Motor Speedway. We strive to be the areas premier campground. Specializing in all race events at BMS and other specialized events such as family reunions, concerts, etc.

Nolichucky Gorge Campground - Erwin, TN
The Nolichucky Gorge Campground in Upper East Tennessee has the Nolichucky River at its front door and the Appalachian Trail in its back yard. Surrounded by thousands of acres of Cherokee National Forest, it is an excellent campground choice. While here, you can enjoy whitewater rafting, canoeing or kayaking, hiking, tubing, swimming and sunbathing, fishing, mountain biking, or just DOING NOTHING!

Rock Springs Campground - Kingsport, TN
The Rock Springs Campground is a BRAND NEW campground located off of the Rock Springs Rd. Exit(49) of Interstate 181.

The Campground is adjacent to I-181's onramp, mere seconds away. It has easy in and out access to State Route 347 (Rock Springs Rd.) and is only 3 miles away from the I-181/I-81 exchange. This puts it approximately 30 minutes from Bristol Motor Speedway itself allowing you to avoid the congestion and crowds surrounding the speedway.

RSC features 20'x40' and larger RV spaces with no crowding. There are also 20'x20' Tent spaces available. The campsite is on well drained, grassy, mowed lots. NO MUDHOLES! SELF CONTAINED CAMPING ONLY as there are no hook-ups or dump stations. There is, however, a CITGO convenience store and gas station located directly across the street from the campsite. There are Port-O-Lets and 24 hour security on-site. Fresh water is available for filling up water tanks. A shuttle service to the racetrack is also available
