Nature Trail And Woodland Walk
Take a walk through one and a quater miles of sheer heaven. The woodland and waterside walks hold conservation awards from the South of England Agricultural Society and the Lewes Chamber of Commerce.
Museum
The museum buildings were erected between 1820 and 1830 by a rich landowner as the Home farm to the Danehurst Estate. For their day they represented the last word in modern planning and their remarkable state of preservation recaptures a picture of a typical Victorian farm.
Today, useless for modern farming, they house a great collection of farming and domestic bygones in a unique country museum.

There are family amusement parks and wildlife centres; the nostalgic, the curious and the simply fun, including museums of bygones, steam railways and caves. Sussex boasts numerous theatres and arts festivals, golf courses, horse racing, many ancient churches and buildings plus large Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty over the South Downs and Ashdown Forest, (including the soon-to-be-designated South Downs National Park) - and don't forget the Sussex Pub!
The Old Mill Holiday Park is an 'adults only' small, well laid out, picturesque site, set in the grounds of a converted windmill and bakery surrounded by fields. It has both a touring section and a static holiday park to the rear. Golden Cross is centrally situated for easy travelling to the sea (Eastbourne, Brighton), downland and the Sussex countryside. It is an ideal area for rambling or cycling. Dogs are welcome if kept under control.
