A brand new caravan site in Cheddar 4 minutes from the Gorge with outstanding Mendip views

The village of Cheddar linked by
Cheddar Gorge to the Mendip Hills is
an ideal centre for a holiday.
Not only are there many things to do
and see in the surrounding area but
also many things of interest both in the village and nearby.

If walking and rambling are your thing,
there are numerous signposted paths
and nature trails beginning in the Gorge
and climbing to the tops of the cliffs giving splendid views of the surrounding countryside.

Walking through the Gorge you will find many things of interest. Underneath the cliffs there are many small gift shops interspersed with craft workshops, other exhibitions and small restaurants offering a welcome cup of coffee, strawberry teas, or a full meal served in a family atmosphere.

Walking on towards the village you will see a lake and waterfall and may
follow the course of the River Yeo to the Garden of Fragrance, especially
created for the blind.

The ten-acre field is located next to our
Livery Yard, on the edge of the Somerset levels, at the foot of the Mendip hills and provides a very even surface upon which
to park.

The three water points are supplied directly from the main running under the field and the pressure is considerable! To make your task as pleasant as possible, water points are located on brick platforms with galvanized gratings. A sealed tank with adjacent tap has been sunk into the ground to cater for your need to dispose of liquid waste.

Electricity for specific events and charging batteries is provided free of charge however we do not have plans currently for hook ups. Dogs on a lead are welcome and a waste bins are provided along with an area to let them off should this be required.

For a small charge, Kelly will provide
pony rides And Stevie can usually be persuaded to organise a tractor ride!

Petruth paddocks caravan site provides
the ideal base from which to enjoy
your time away.

For the more active of you the village has a leisure centre, riding stables, fishing, crazy golf, and sailing activities are available nearby.

Potholing and caving can be arranged taking you well into the
Mendip Cave System.

Whether you are a seasoned rally veteran or rallying for the first time, you
want to know that you are coming to a venue that is clean and safe, close
enough to walk to local shops but far enough away to switch off from it all.
