This pleasantly landscaped site is adjacent to the largest white water canoeing and rafting course built to international standard in Britain. The Centre provides facilities including a sheltered viewing balcony, a drying and changing room, canoe storage area, shop and cafe.

Famous for its summer International Riverside Festival, Stockton's museum tells the story of George Stephenson and 'The Birth of the Railways'. Nearby Teesside Park is a shoppers' paradise with restaurants, multi-screen cinema complex and bowling alley.

Serviced pitches are available,these
pitches have an allweather surface and usually an individual ground level inlet
for grey water. Further shared facilities
include an illuminated EHU bollard
and drinking water.

Birdwatchers, wildlife enthusiasts and walkers will be spoiled for choice with over 30 miles of coastline a short drive away - tiny fishing villages, traditional holiday resorts and dramatic cliffs. For a relaxing few hours, try one of the cruises available nearby on one of Britain's most popular rivers - you can board at Castlegate Quay.

This site has 15 acres of land accommodating 117 pitches including
21 serviced pitches, plus there are 220 storage pitches with CCTV. Available
on site is a toilet block with
private cubicles, baby/toddler
washroom.

Across the road from the site there is a Beefeater pub and just a short car journey away (or a 20 minute walk) there is Teesside Retail Park which has plenty of restaurants and fast food outlets as well as a ten pin bowling alley and a multi screen cinema. Morrisons supermarket is also on this park but there is also an Asda supermarket a ten minute walk from the campsite.

The campsite is in an excellent location for exploring the area, the A19 is on the door step and heading south there is the Yorkshire Dales & Moors as well as the coast, Whitby is about an hour away. Heading north there is Hartlepool and the historic quay.

Stockton-on-Tees is rapidly growing into
an impressive international watersports destination.

Thanks to the Tees Barrage, the River Tees up stream is now Grade A 2 star, providing water-based activities in abundance to visitors and residents alike.

Stockton’s International Riverside Festival is the UK’s finest street arts festival and has few rivals anywhere and the Arc has quickly become one of the northeast’s leading alternative arts venues.
