Sea kayaking holiday in Scotland
late availability: Last few places available on selected August & September trips The pristine archipelago of the Outer Hebrides is an undiscovered paradise. With rugged and remote mountains dropping down to long, white-sand beaches with the clear blue sea lapping gently on the shore, it is the perfect setting for a sea kayaking holiday in Scotland.

On this adventurous sea kayaking holiday in Scotland, we spend 5 days exploring the wild coasts of the Outer Hebrides. We’ll access uninhabited islands such as Taransay (setting for the BBC series ‘Castaway’), discover vast empty beaches of Lewis and, if conditions are right, explore the many skerries of the Sound of Harris. Paddling alongside vast, sandy beaches, round rocky headlands or venturing out to uninhabited islands, the sea kayaking is as good as anywhere in the world.
Isle of Mull day cruises & short breaks
Do you like the ruggedness of the West coast of Britain, the idea of visiting some of the harder to get to islands – small communities, peaceful locations, Hebridean culture, more wildlife than people…?
We offer a huge variety of cruises - you can join a group or we can tailor make a holiday to suit your needs. Aside from the fact that we are the UK’s first and most experienced whale and dolphin watch, you have the security of over 20 years of our family-run business. It is also important to us (and we hope to you) that marine research has always been at the forefront of our wildlife-watching, working closely together with local charity the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust.
Sailing holidays in Scotland
The dramatic combination of mountains and sea makes the West Coast and Islands of Scotland the ideal place for a holiday combining rewarding sailing with some easy walking on the many tranquil islands. For the more adventurous, a voyage to St Kilda offers the chance to visit the most remote outpost of the UK – a land of towering sea-cliffs, intriguing social history and massive sea bird colonies.
Beautiful hidden anchorages, stunning coastal and hill walking, and fine food are a feature of these trips. Novice and experienced sailors and walkers are equally welcome on these spectacular and unforgettable trips.
