Set amidst 12 acres of glorious woodland, Ogwen Bank Caravan Park and Country Club offers everything required for both tranquil and action-filled holiday in breath-taking Snowdonia. The Ogwen is a delightful river, spilling down the mountains of Snowdonia, in parts rushing by, in others quiet stretches and deep pools.

The whole area is well known for activity based holidays and this Park in particular. The natural beauty of the Snowdonia National Park (840 square miles of varied countryside) is hard to surpass anywhere and beckons to be explored.

Olde Worlde Country Club, the former
hunting lodge to Penrhyn Castle.

Complete with log fire and an excellent licensed bar, the Club provides the perfect atmosphere in which to relax after exploring the wilds of Snowdonia.

At Ogwen Bank all holiday homes are fully equipped with home comforts, from a well fitted kitchen with fridge, shower room with WC and washbasin to a colour TV. There are 6 to 8 berth Holiday homes available in a wide range of models.The park has a shop, launderette and children's play area.

For those wanting more spacious and luxurious accommodation, we offer a selection of two and three bedroom Pine lodges which are substantially larger than the caravan homes and benefit from superior levels of equipment.

lodges have full central heating and double glazing throughout, free-standing furniture (sofas, beds, dining table etc.) and a high level of equipment including dishwasher and washer/dryer in the kitchen, full size bath with shower and private verandah/decking area.

They are located on a specially landscaped development making the best use of their quiet location and woodland surroundings, some with views of the river Ogwen. with additional insulation and central heating Lodges make an ideal retreat in the colder months and offer holiday makers a greater level of comfort and luxury throughout the year.

Out and About

Keen walkers would have to look long and hard for more spectacular countryside in which to spend their days. In Snowdonia there are many nature trails for ramblers and mountain tracks for more experienced walkers (walkers are reminded that they must be fully equipped before embarking on a mountain trail).

For the more adventurous, rock climbing and abseiling takes place at Llanberis Pass, the training ground for both Alpine and Everest climbers and expert tuition is at hand. For those who want to enjoy the mountain views without taking a hike, there is the unique Snowdon Mountain Railway.

Horse riding enthusiasts can explore the blissful Snowdonia countryside on a trusty steed - there are a number of riding and trekking centers in the area, catering for both the novice and experienced rider.

Anglers will find that, salmon, trout and sea trout can be fished for in local rivers and lakes, in season and with a permit, and sea fishing trips are available at Caernarfon, Beaumaris, Conwy and Llandudno. You can also enjoy beach casting at Dinas Dinlle, famed for its bass fishing in the surf.
