If you can bear to leave the resort, you'll find the Norfolk Broads right on your doorstep, great for a day on the water. Nearby are the seaside towns of Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft or the pretty village of Southwold.

Best admired from one of the many boats available to hire for a memorable trip on the water.
Somerleyton Hall - 10 minutes
A grand Italian-style early Victorian mansion surrounded by 12 acres of gardens incorporating a traditional yew hedge maze. It's open from April to October.
Lowestoft Transport Museum - 20 minutes
Step back in time and have a ride on a trolley bus and many other nostalgic vehicles.
Lowestoft beach - 15 minutes
Two award winning beaches plus cafés, restaurants and kiosks along the resort promenades!
Great Yarmouth beach - 25 minutes
Famous for their sandy expanses and seaside amusements.
Southwold - 30 minutes
An historic fishing village with a wide selection of quaint gift shops and tea rooms.
Ellough - 30 minutes
With its famous Sunday marketplace open from Easter to December.
Norwich - 1 hour
This historic city is bursting with ancient charm and modern shops and amenities.
Bressingham Steam Museum & Gardens - 1 hour 15 minutes
