A beautiful private hamlet of cottages, Scandinavian and Riverside lodges set amidst a glorious 30 acre estate. |
|
Oiginally a 16th Century working water mill, Coombe Mill is now a beautiful, private hamlet of picturesque cottages and riverside lodges
Set amidst an idyllic 30-acre estate. St Breward dates back to pre-Norman times when it was a series of small hamlets suspended along the western edge of Bodmin Moor. Over the centuries these hamlets have joined together to form the present village, which is the highest in Cornwall and enjoys magnificent views over the surrounding Cornish countryside.

We have luxury Scandinavian Lodges each sleeping 7. Eden, Heligan and Pencarrow. These are new contemporary
and spacious properties named after
famous Cornish houses and gardens. |
They are built from substantial Scandinavian timber by a local moorland business with great care and attention to detail. They are double-glazed throughout with French doors leading to beautiful decked verandas with tables
and chairs for outdoor dining. Eden is situated in the heart of the Coombe estate in an elevated position with a fenced private garden while Heligan and Pencarrow have stunning views over the river and valley and are surrounded by spacious lawns. There is a large covered barbecue for extending balmy summertime
meals outside.

All the riverside lodges at Coombe Mill, whose eccentric names Camel, Deer, De Lank etc. are derived from local rivers, have beautiful views over the river and valley and are surrounded by spacious lawns and woods ensuring tranquil peace and quiet.
All have sunny verandas and their own garden furniture. The lodges can accommodate from two to six people and have a lounge/dining area,
full size bathroom with overhead shower, double bedroom and a choice of twin beds or bunk beds with space for a cot. Ottery, Valancy and Jordan each have pretty four poster beds.
