Local attractions
Ashwell is an attractive village with interesting architecture. It has several small shops and three pubs, which all serve food. An excellent Indian Take Away can be found in the High Street. The village has its own museum packed with local history. In the centre of Ashwell, the springs provide the source of the River Rhee and is home to rare prehistoric invertebrates!
We have many places and attractions within a 30 minute drive.
The Imperial War Museum at Duxford and the Shuttleworth Collection for those that like aircraft and military vehicles.
If you like the wilder things in life, then a visit to Woburn Safari park or
Whipsnade might just tame you!
Not your thing either, then how about some of the country's finest houses, we have Woburn Abbey, Wimpole Hall with its open farm (great for the kids) and Knebworth nearby.
Still not you, then how about shopping. From a day out in Oxford Street to the shopping centre's of Cambridge, Stevenage and Bedford, not forgetting all the market towns such as Hitchin, Letchworth, Royston and Baldock.
Not convinced, just want to relax, then sit back in the sun with a drink
and just listen to the birds.
