Abbey Wood Caravan Club Site
Federation Rd Abbey Wood London SE2 0LS England
Telephone - 020 8311 7708

A CARAVAN CLUB GOLDEN JUBILEE SITE. It feels positively rural when you reach this verdant, gently sloping, secure site with its mature tree screening and spacious grounds. Good railway connections (35 mins) into Central London's attractions are within walking distance of the site.

Open all year, this is a busy site,
popular with European visitors during
the summer months.

However, there are good reasons to visit Abbey Wood throughout the year: the Christmas lights, January sales
shopping, London Marathon,
Excel Centre and the
Chelsea Flower Show.

"Tranquility within the M25 motorway" Stay at Walton on Thames and you are inside London’s infamous orbital M25 motorway and only 15 miles from the City. But you would never know – there is even a resident flock of parakeets on Site.

" We love this Site so much that this
is our third summer here.

Easy travel into London is a factor but most of all the tranquillity and serenity
of Walton together with its plethora of wildlife makes this our
home from home

WELCOME to California Chalet & Touring Park in Berkshire, where every effort is made to ensure an enjoyable stay in our beautiful woodland setting.

The site of the Park was
originally part of Windsor Forest
and was a favourite hunting
ground of the Tudors.

In 1985 the 5-acre Chalet & Touring Park was privately purchased and is
now a picturesque, quiet retreat for family holiday relaxation.

Open from 1 March - 31 December, we are ideally situated for visiting
such places as London, Oxford, the New Forest and the South Coast.

There are also 35 individual pitches for Touring Caravans, Motor/Vans
and Tents, each with a hardstanding and room for an awning, together with a
water supply and disposal point. Most pitches have electrical hook-ups.

A well-appointed Toilet Block, personally supervised by the owners, has hand basins (H. & C.), razor points and hot showers, together with outside
dishwashing facilities and a laundry & clothes-drying area. There are also
facilities for the disabled.

Our visitors can enjoy the facilities of the adjacent Country Park which covers some 100 or more acres

Visitors wishing to fish the lake must have a current National River Authority Rod Licence. These can be purchased from a tackle shop in Wokingham.

We have a small shop facility on the Park with a selection of essential groceries including fresh milk, sweets and ice-cream. Newspapers can be supplied to order (peak season only).

Riding schools, a sports complex with an ice-rink & large indoor swimming pool, and also a ski-slope .... all within a few miles of the Park.

The Thames with its pretty villages and many houses and gardens of interest.

Windsor Castle, Sunningdale, and the Ascot, Epsom
Newbury and Kempton races.

Legoland, the Adventure Park and Zoo at Chessington, and Thorpe Park ....
all within a short motoring distance of the Park.
