A Family run caravan park located 500 metres west of Salthill on the shores of Galway Bay and less than 2km from Galway City.
Salthill Caravan Park is Galway's premier caravan and camping park and is very popular with mobile homes, Touring Caravans, Camper Vans and Camping. At Salthill Caravan Park it is possible to step from the park to the sea shore. There is also All Night Security on the park.

Salthill Caravan Park has been welcoming guests since 1960, when it was owned by the Ryan Hotel Group. In 1980 The O’Malley family purchased the site and have been running this 8 acre, 4 star park ever since.
The park which comprises 5.5 acres of static mobile homes with all the modern comfort for the seasoned traveller and a camping site of some 3 acres for the more adventurous. The park is boarded on 3 side by breath taking views of Galway Bay. There is also access to the strand at the end of the park just 20 meters away.

much sought after destination.

The park is very suitable for a family holiday and your children are sure to make new friends in then games room or in the play area.
All amenities are on site and there is an excellent bus services which passes the main gate every 30 minutes.
There is a hotel and pub just 200 metres away, a shop just 2 minutes walk and an excellent supermarket just 600 metres.
The units are available to rent from Easter to September and in low season (April, May, June) can be rented for a single night.
Galway Atlantaquaria, Ireland’s National Aquarium, is the “jewel in the crown of visitor attractions in the West of Ireland” and is home to 170 species of fresh water and marine life. Situated on the famous Salthill Promenade, it has evolved to become undoubtedly one of the finest visitor attractions in Ireland.
Leisure Land - Open All Year leisureland_smallThe extensive pool area contains a 25 metre, 6-lane competitive deck level pool. In addition it has a warm up pool, and a kiddies leisure pool which comes complete with a full size Pirate Ship, Bubble Pool and Interactive water features. If that is not enough to set your pulses racing there is also a 65m waterslide which proves a favourite with all.
The main pool is equipped with a moveable floor, which allows depths to be adjusted to suit individual sessions. There are public pool sessions seven days a week, from Lane Swimming to simply relaxing and paddling about.
Rusheen BayWindsurfing is one of Ireland’s leading windsurfing schools, located minutes from the park and just outside Galway City on the West Coast of Ireland. Rusheen Bay provides an ideal, safe, learning environment for beginners and a great flat-water venue for freestyle and blasting as you progress. We use the new Irish Sailing Association ‘Go! Windsurfing’ teaching syllabus and the most up to date equipment to accelerate the learning process – even complete beginners can expect to be windsurfing in less than 60 minutes!
Salthill, Beach located in Galway City - The beach at Salthill is actually several small beaches separated by outcrops. Some of the beaches are sandy and some pebbly. It is located in Galway city and on Galway Bay, a Special Area of Conservation. When in the Salthill Caravan Park you can walk on the special path way along the shore line to access the beaches.
Salthill Golf Club - This excellent parkland course is centrally located in Salthill, just three miles from Galway City Centre. It has a magnificent new clubhouse (with full catering facilities) which boasts panoramic views of Galway Bay and the Burren from its elevated site.
The Galway Races - Adrenalin-pumping action, heart-stopping finishes and breath-taking fashion: you are at the Galway Races. Situated on the outskirts of Galway city, in the West of Ireland, the Galway Race Festivals are world renowned. A small family run park newly set up and fresh to this business, but after our first few years we have found it to be most rewarding.

The entrance to the park is easily spotted off the R700 road. It makes an ideal location for spending time in Kilkenny, known for its elegance and famed for its beer & cats. Advice is given on touring routes. Horse riding, Fishing, Golf and other outdoor pursuits are all within easy access of the park.

Each year Kilkenny hosts a number of international festivals and the city is a very popular tourist destination.
This medieval city is characterised by many beautifully restored buildings and winding slipways - it is small and compact enough to explore on foot, yet full of fascinating historical buildings and contemporary shops, design galleries and restaurants.
A tour we suggest: Suitable for vehicular access this is particularly good for walking or cycling.

This tour pivots on Castlecomer, with contrasting scenic appeals in the Dinin River valley and on the Castlecomer Plateau. The intimate landscapes of the valley contrasts with the marvellous panoramas from the plateau and the Ridge of Leinster.

Berehaven Golf is situated 5 kilometres from Castletownbere on the Glengarriff road. It is located in one of the most scenic area in west Cork on the shores of Bantry Bay with the Caha mountains in the background.
A well laid out camping and caravan park
is right next to the clubhouse. The camper/caravan area is hard surface with electricity and water supply for each berth.
The camping area is closer to the sea and well sheltered from northerly winds. Showers and wash room facilities are avaliable in main clubhouse building.
The nightly rates are reasonable and special rates can be had for long term stays. The camper and caravan park is open all year and other activities which are avaliable locally are fishing, boating, and hill walking or you can just relax and enjoy the scenery in one of the few unspoiled areas in the country.
The Site is set amid mountain scenery of breathtaking beauty on the shores of Bantry Bay. Famous in song, Bantry Bay in West Cork Ireland is of legendary beauty. Bantry, at the head of the bay, is a busy market town and fishing port.Great location for fishing, walking, canoeing, golf or just relaxing.
