Wynnhaven Riverside consists of 25 Acres of Florida foliage and fauna, sitting right on the Withlacoochee River. Recently added are new boat slips for your convenience, as well as the opening of our newly renovated Big Fish General Store and Deli. Stop by and check us out!

Activities here include:

  • Boating - we offer a boat launch for campers and for day use.
  • Canoe & Kayaking - rentals available.
  • Fishing - Catch all types of Florida fresh water fish.
  • Bird Watching - over 19 species of water birds have been seen at the park, including Spoonbills, Sandhill Cranes, Lumpkins ... we have a pair of Red Shoulder Hawks, Owls, Pilated Woodpeckers, hummingbirds, & a resident Egret named Oscar.
  • Picnic Areas - we have one large and 2 small covered pavilions for your convenience.
  • Floral City has the Strawberry Festival in March.
  • Webster has the largest & most popular Flea Market in Central Florida, only about a 15 minute drive east.
  • Sit back and enjoy the peace and quiet!


We would love for you to stay awhile! We offer daily, weekly, seasonal and year round camping. We are a 55+ Community, Primitive Camping - 8 primitive camping sites with water and electric available. RV Sites - 11 RV sites available. Bring your RV!

Wynnhaven offers multiple waterways, a boat launch into the Withlacoochee River, a large canopy of Florida Oak, Hickory, Cypress, Magnolia, and fruit trees through out the park, lots of bromeliads and azaleas, air plants, Spanish moss & wild flowers.

A few of the amenities we offer at Wynnhaven are:

  • Boat Slips - we have 10 boat slips for rent.
  • Boat Launch - the launch is available free to our tenents, or if you are just wanting to launch for the day there is a $5 fee.
  • Boat Storage Area
  • Canoe & Kayak Renals - canoe and kayak rentals are available, see someone in the main office.
  • Primitive Camping - 8 primitive sites, with water and electric are available.
  • Picnic Area -one large and 2 small picnic pavilions on site for your enjoyment.
  • RV Sites - 11 RV sites available.
  • General Store & Deli - our newly renovated General Store and Deli offers all the basics any camper may need - coffee, sugar, beer, wine, milk, etc... convenient on the go deli sandwiches and cold foods.
  • Bait & Tackle - available at the General Store.
  • WIFI - We are in the process of getting Wireless internet for your convenience.
  • Laundry - coin operated facilities available.
  • Mailboxes - available for long term residents.
  • Restroom Facilities - newly renovated restrooms as well as shower facilities on site for your convenience.
  • We are pet friendly! There is a 30 lb. weight limit for dogs.

Wynnhaven is located on County Road 48 in the small town of Bushnell, Florida. Just head west 8 miles off I-75 on CR 48, you will find us there on your left hand side, 7 miles before you get to Floral City... more specifically, before you cross the bridge on the Withlacoochee River. Whether you are visiting Florida and want sun, sun, sun... or prefer to camp in the shade of Florida's grand oak trees, we have units available for both.

Our recently renovated Big Fish General Store and Deli carries everything you will need for those last minute provisions, as well as deli sandwiches... with a smile! We have also remodeled and added new boat slips for your convenience!

Cross Creek Country Club & RV Resort is a first class, gated facility, which has been awarded the prestigious 5 "W" rating by the respected Woodall's Five Star Campground Directory.

Although Cross Creek is a seasonal Resort, 90% of our sites are rented annually as the residents enjoy the “non-transient” nature of our Resort, and look forward to seeing their neighbors and friends from year to year. The Resort is located 5 miles north of the old historical town of Arcadia on Cubitis Avenue (Old US Hwy. 17).

Cross Creek is operated as a first class RV Resort and only allows commercially manufactured RV’s (5th wheels, travel trailers and motor homes) no less than 22 feet and meeting management standard conditions. No tents, pop-ups, hi-lows, truck campers or vans of any type are allowed. Park Model homes are permissible and available for purchase. Rent includes use of all amenities and participation in the full activity schedule.

Cross Creek Country Club & RV Resort
Every March, July, and October, the Rodeo comes to town in Arcadia, Florida. Established in 1928, the Arcadia All-Florida Championship is where the nation’s top professional rodeo cowboys and cowgirls battle for the points and prize money each year to go on to the National Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada. Come to Florida’s cowboy country for fun.
