Dolbryn does have a pond at
the bottom of the "Lakes" field
we know that the fish are doing
well and growing fast.
We hope that over the next
couple of years, the pond will
become a favoured attraction
to all our visitors.

Gweryd Lakes
There are 15 well spaced pitches for
both large frame and smaller tents
on this campsite at Gweryd in
North Wales.
There are toilet, showers, drinking water points, laundry and drying facilities.
Llyn Gweryd (12½ acres: 5 Ha), a
natural spring fed lake, provides
excellent carp fishing. It is now
regarded as one of the leading
Carp waters in Wales and is
regularly reported in the
angling press.
There is a very large head of Carp in the lake and at least 15 over 20lbs
plus 50 high doubles, The average weight for a Carp caught is
currently13 lbs.

Please note in addition 18 all weather lakeside "bivvy" pitches are available on Llyn Gweryd for 24hour carp fishing. Whether you want a fishing holiday, a base for walking, riding or mountain biking or simply to stay in a beautiful location they have something to suit.
Only having a small number of each type of accommodation, ensures that you will be able to enjoy a peaceful break in spacious surroundings, yet with many of the amenities of larger sites. Whatever you choose, you can be sure of warm hospitality and an enjoyable holiday. Guests can, of course, make use of the café and shop on site. There is also a local village shop, post office and pub within one mile. Other facilities available include laundry and drying facilities and obviously toilets and showers.

On the farm we have one well stocked Carp lake ready to fish and another on the way. Towy, Cennen and Lougher are the three local rivers that will give any fisherman a good days sport trying to catch Brown trout, Salmon and sea Bass depending how far down the Towy you go. |

There are a number of options that present themselves.
You may try your hand in the river Eden that runs through our farm
where salmon and trout (Wild Brown Trout) are present
at certain points of the year.
The nearby Mawddach river presents similar opportunities, but for a wider
range of catches the nearby lake Trawsfynydd ('Llyn Trawsfynydd' above) provides a variety of excellent angling experiences and very good catches.
Pyscodlyn Farm Caravan & Camping Site
The River Usk is famous for its trout and salmon. Tickets can be issued at Pyscodlyn to fish a 1 and a half mile stretch of the river bank.

There are also well stocked reservoirs within easy travelling distance.
Coarse fishing is available on the local canal.

Springwater Lakes, Carmarthenshire
Set in 20 acres of the beautiful South West Wales countryside, overlooked by the Cambrian Mountains and 4 miles east of Lampeter, you will find Springwater Lakes. A picturesque angling complex of 4 lakes: 1 specimen, 1 mixed coarse and 2 fly, with a 4 star, 30 pitch touring site for caravans and camping. All lakes have easy access for the disabled angler.

On site the caravan and camping pitches have electric hook-up, T.V. reception, and there are immaculate toilets and showers. It’s a nice level site with well spaced pitches plus hard standings available making it an ideal venue for motorhomes. All pitches are within 50 yards of the lakes.

Hells Mouth Beach, Lleyn Peninsula. Save for rough patches at each extreme end this is a wholly clean sand surf beach with gutters running its length at intervals. Takes on a massive surf at times, hence the name.
