Butterstone Loch: Butterstone Loch is a 120-acre fishery based in the beautiful heart of Perthshire approximately 15 miles from Perth and 8 from Blairgowrie. It is set in an area of outstanding scenic beauty being flanked on one side by the Loch of the Lowes nature reserve and on the other by woods and hills.

Faskally: Salmon and trout fishing on Loch Faskally and around Pitlochry

Balquhidder Braes: a major activity on Loch Earn. Permits approx £6 per day can be bought at the local village shop Also nearby Lochs Lubnaig, Voil, Venachar and Tay offer good sport for the keen angler.

Braidhaugh Holiday Park is situated on the banks of the River Earn, a river well-known for it's salmon and trout. The river also offers grayling as well as other fish for great all year round fishing

Craigielands Caravan Holiday Park: Fishing is now one of the most popular sports to enjoy in Scotland. Craigielands has a 6 acre Loch fully stocked for coarse fishing including Carp, Bream and Tench, along with Brown and Rainbow Trout.

Cairnryan: Every type of angler is catered for in the area. For sea angling, Luce bay is one of the finest Tope grounds in Britain and Loch Ryan (within walking distance from the park) is famous for Conger eel etc. and is sheltered in most weather conditions. Sea fishing trips can be organised from Stranraer and Port Patrick. Trout fishermen are also well catered for. There are several well stocked lochs and good salmon rivers not far away. Permits and information are available.

Wig Bay: The whole area is a real fisherman's haven. There is trout fishing on 5 lochs, salmon and sea trout in the Cross Water of Luce and sea-fishing for the really hardy!

Highlands

Linnhe: Fishing rivers, hill lochans and sea shorelines are abundant and provide excellent fly and spinner fishing for the keen angler

Bunroy: You can fish for trout and salmon

Ardmair Point: The Boat Centre is situated by the pier on the east side of the park. Self drive rowing, motor, fishing boats, canoes can be rented for periods of one hour or longer

Piperdam Park: The excellent range of facilities including a 20 metre indoor heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi and a gymnasium. 18 hole golf course and driving range, a well stocked prime 40 acre loch for boat and bank fishing and a children's bait pond.

Argyll/Edinburgh/Glasgow/Stirling

Lochgilphead: Fishing: Permits are available for all Forestry Commission and local club lochs plus boat hire. There is ample fishing throughout the area. Boats can be launched at Ardrishaig Boat Club nearby
