Welcome to Page 2
A click on the park name
will take you to the main web site.

Situated next to River Gt.Ouse, right in the heart of the Fens. The
site is set in 4 acres of finely kept grounds surrounded by trees, but with plenty of
open spaces for sun worshippers!

As this is a particularly tranquil and peaceful countryside site we
do not accept children.
There are many pleasant walks from the park along the riverbank into
the village, or the the local Marina, and the train station ( which goes directly into
Ely, Cambridge & London ), and all via the pub!
|
Due to Riverside's location
it is an ideal site for freshwater course fishermen
as it is located only feet from the banks
of the Gt.Ouse. The river offers a well stocked variety of freshwater fish which include
Perch, Pike, Tench, Bream,
Roach & Carp. |
|
|
There are also a good selection of nearby lakes to fish for Carp. The
area is particularly well known for its Zander which was introduced in the 1950`s as a
sports fish. We also have a well stocked tackle shop in the village, 5 minutes from the
site.
|
|
|
There is a shower block on
site with free
hot showers, toilets and washing up facilities. There are electric points in both
sections for shavers and hair dryers.
We have a fridge and freezer set up from April - October for customers use. |
|
The majority of our pitches have
electric hook up
We are a dealer for Calor Gas, and hold
a selection of all sizes of
gas bottles.
|
|
The village of Littleport is only a 15 minute walk away and is well
stocked with a small supermarket, (open until 10pm everyday of the week) bank, butchers,
bakers etc. There is also an excellent Indian restaurant, chinese, fish and chip shop and
kebab shop, so you won't go hungry!
|
|
|
The Black Horse public house is only 350
yards from the site and the new
owners Wendy & Harry will give you
a warm welcome, the pub is situated
on the banks of the river with
a waterfront beer garden and restaurant, serving good pub grub and home
cooked Austrian food as a speciality. |
Cambridgeshire is possibly best known for its waterways, and boating
is something you must try while you are here. You can spend a pleasant hour in Cambridge
if you hire one of the famous punts – flat-bottomed boats pushed along by long
poles. Most trippers love to spend time touring the Backs, and inspiring views of the
colleges can be taken in from the river. Be warned, however: punting is far more
challenging than it looks. Luckily, students often earn extra money by acting as punt
‘chauffeurs’.
The rivers of the region are known for their fishing. The Nene has
chub, barbel, and especially bream – the north bank around the Dog-in-a-Doublet
Sluice is considered some of the best match fishing in the UK.

Holiday Parks in Norfolk come no better than Wild Duck.
Eastern England is such a delightful location. Its softer stretch of coastline, backed by
the Lincolnshire Wolds and the Norfolk Broads, offers long stretches of safe, sandy
beaches, charming villages and lively resorts. Meanwhile back on Park at Wild Duck,
everybody's in the holiday mood
Like all our holiday Parks, Wild Duck is as lively as the Norfolk Broads are picturesque! Most of our
holiday Parks in this region are in Norfolk itself, just one step away from exuberant
holiday resorts like Great Yarmouth, the pearl of the Norfolk holiday coast. But since
everything on Park is just brimming with family fun, you won't have to stray far –
like our holiday Parks everywhere, Wild Duck in Norfolk just can't be beaten for
fantastic facilities and vibrant entertainment.
