Mounts Farm Touring Park and Barn Cottage are a family owned site and holiday accommodation situated in scenic unspoilt countryside in the heart of South Devon between the historic towns of Totnes and Kingsbridge (10 and 3 miles respectively) set back off the A381 and accessed via a private driveway
Mounts Farm is an ideal base for
exploring the sleepy hamlets, rolling countryside, picturesque harbours,
sandy bays and coves which combine to make South Hams one of the
Most attractive areas in Britain
The site is a total of six acres, divided into four fields, three of the fields are licensed for camping and caravanning and provide a total of 50 pitches of which 22 are 16amp hook-up-points. the fourth field is designated as an orchard and is the first you will see as you make your way up our private driveway.
The first field which is the smallest, has room for 10 pitches, each pitch has a hook-up available if required. When busy this field is normally reserved for hook-ups
The ladies toilets are decorated in the same colours as the gents and comprise of, 2 large hand basins and 2 small, hand dryer, electric razor point, 4 toilets and 3 showers. As with the gents the showers are FREE and easily controlled. The cubicles are tiled throughout with plenty of room for changing.
The gents toilets are tastefully decorated in light and dark blue with a tiled flooring throughout. they comprise of 2 full sized hand basins and 2 small hand basins, hand dryer, electric razor point, 2 urinals, 3 toilets and 2 electric showers. The showers are FREE and the water temperature can easily be adjusted on the shower unit to suit each individual.
We have divided the field that you see as you enter the site and put in a
children's play area at the top of this field.
At the far end of this field we have install some play things for the younger children
A wendy house which has a Dolls pram in it with a doll a cooker with
little untensils etc.
A boat that has been sunk into the ground so that even the smaller children
may get into it and play
The closest town to us is Kingsbridge,
here you will find tourist information centre, favourite shops, cinema, swimming pool,
craft fairs, many public houses and restaurants/takeaways and for the
young ones a small night club.
