It's proximity to our fishing lakes mean that fishing opportunities within easy walking distance are available on a day ticket basis. It also has excellent access making it an ideal stop over location
Fishing Lakes constructed so as to fit into their surroundings, our fishing lakes which span approximately 4 acres provide competitive course fishing of carp up to 20 lbs and tench up to 6lbs. During your stay you may park your caravan on grass or hard standings. On site there is a chemical disposal point and toilets in close proximity. A seating area and picnic facilities are also nearby so you can enjoy a meal in the sunshine overlooking our lakes.

course fishing on your doorstep
during your stay.
If fishing isn't your thing then our lakes make a stunning walk on a summers evening and you are more than welcome to enjoy a stroll and see if you can spot some of the wildlife in the area including kingfishers and woodpeckers.

Running along side our CL site is the
River Wolf which gently meanders
through the Wolf Valley in a Southerly direction before merging with the River Thrussell and River Lew. The gently
flowing water is able to add to the
peaceful and tranquil setting we have created. The river is also home to a
wide variety of wildlife which can be
seen all year round.
The Plume of Feathers Inn is situated in the moorland village of Princetown, which is Dartmoors main vaillage. On the outskirts of Princetown is the world renowned Dartmoor Prison, completed in 1809, it was originally built to house the French and American prisoners of war.

The Inn is Princetown's oldest building (1785), with copper bars, log fires, oil lamps, plenty of atmosphere, and also retains many of its original features...slate floors, exposed beams and granite walls.
Dartmoor National Park which covers over 369 square miles is famous for its rugged beauty, quaint villages, prehistoric remains, and its many peaks, such as High Willhays (2039ft) and Yes Tor (2030ft).

Woodville Park is approached by a
level drive from the main A381 road
between Newton Abbot and Totnes,
providing easy access.
The 3.5 acre site is beautifully landscaped, and offers a quiet,
secluded location for adult caravanners looking for a peaceful and
relaxing holiday, yet it is also an ideal centre for exploring t
he whole of South Devon.
The site itself is mostly level, with a South-Westerly aspect
ensuring maximum sunshine.
The spacious individual “all weather”
pitches are each provided with
electric hook-ups, and are situated
around a central lawned area.
The modern, spotlessly clean toilet and shower block includes FREE HOT WATER, together with a separate toilet and shower designed for the less able.
Immediateley adjacent to Woodville Park is “Fermoys” Garden Centre
which sells a variety of food, drink and garden and home goods.
Dainton Park golf course is directly opposite, and offers a warm welcome
and challenging course to visiting golfers.
