Barley Meadow Camping and Caravan Park is family run and set within the Dartmoor National Park, one of the last great open spaces, in the heart of glorious Devon.

We are a small, friendly touring park easily accessible from the A30 (2 minutes) and M5 (15 minutes). You won't get lost finding us!

Peppermint Holiday Park at Dawlish Warren in Devon is the nearest touring caravan and camping park to Dawlish Warren’s Blue Flag sandy beach and is perfect for Devon caravan and camping holidays.

We welcome touring caravans, motorhomes, tents and trailer tents to our 4 star Devon caravanning campsite. Most of our individually marked electric hook-up touring caravan, motorhome and camping pitches are on grass, with most being on level ground.


Tents can be accommodated on
both electric and non-electric pitches
and in the ‘Peak Holiday Season’
camping pitches are also available
in the casual campsite fields without
the need to pre-book your Devon holiday
so you can simply turn up!

Peppermint Water, our small coarse
fishing pond, is surrounded by mature
trees and bushes and is well stocked
with carp, tench and bream.

Daily, weekly and evening tickets are available. Guests must be in possession of a valid EA Rod Licence, in addition to Peppermint Park’s fishing ticket, to fish at Peppermint Water. Children under the age of 14 years must always be accompanied.

Golf: Peppermint Park is proud to be a Corporate Member of the nearby Warren Golf Club; a beautiful par 69 links golf course located just 5 minutes walk from the Park. Our membership allows us to offer Peppermint Park's golfers some very special rates on green fees and, for our Holiday Home Private Owners and Peppermint Retreat Lodge guests, we are able to offer FREE golf throughout the year (terms and conditions apply)

TOURING WITH GREAT VIEWS If you bring your own caravan, motorhome or tent, you will find a high level of well-presented and maintained amenities -free hot water and ample dish washing facilities included!

Our service pitches provide hard standing for your caravan or motorhome along with electric hook-up points, mains water connections and drainage for waste water.


Heated showers, toilet and hairdryer facilities are available throughout the park.

Touring customers with disabilities are catered for with specially designed showers and toilets in our touring section.


Chemical toilet disposal facilities are available at convenient points around the touring section. Electric leads and drinking water connection hoses can be purchased from the park shop.

Here you'll find the superb Oasis Centre. Unwind with a sauna or experience the

There's something for everyone...whatever the weather. We are virtually self-contained, indeed some of our guests are quite content to spend their time within the park and enjoy our facilities. Others prefer to go out and explore all that this part of South Devon has to offer.

Cheston Caravan and Camping Park is a quiet family run, immaculately maintained site, with all facilities, including electric hook-ups, toilets and showers. Tents are welcome.

Cheston is just right if you want a quiet peaceful base for touring the West Country. It is perfect for touring, walking, horse riding, bird watching, fishing, leisure and beaches.

The rugged Tors and Moorland, wooded valleys, and quaint villages of Dartmoor are only a short drive away, as are Torquay and Paignton, and the Cities of Plymouth and Exeter.


We are based centrally so you
are in an ideal position
to visit the attractions of Devon
such as Buckfast Abbey, Widecombe-in-the-Moor, Dartmeet
and also
the delights of Cornwall.

Take a day trip to see the Eden Project and pretty fishing villages. We do hope you have a pleasant stay with us and of course dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a lead at all times and exercised off the site. Please do not let your dog foul anywhere on the site.

Surrounding Area's Buckfast Abbey is the home of a Roman Catholic Community of Benedictine monks in Devon, England. The first monastery was founded in 1018, but was suppressed by Henry VIII in 1539. It was refounded in 1882. The Abbey Church was rebuilt by the monks themselves. Buckfast now welcomes almost half a million visitors each year.


Badgers Holt, at Dartmeet,
of world-famed beauty, was once an old fishing lodge belonging to the Manor of Spitchwick mentioned in the Domesday Book, and the Clapper Bridge or
Old Packhorse Bridge is some 2000 years old.

is a picturesque scattered village in a valley on the eastern side of Dartmoor Forest. Its parish is a detached member of Haytor Hundred The parish rises in bold hills from the river Dart and several of its tributary streams, and great improvements have been made of late years in the Forest farms. . . . The Church (St. Pancras,) is a large ancient structure with a lofty tower and six bells
