Sunny Pooh Corner caravan site is situated in Devon, a 10 min walk from the picturesque village of Ashwater. Ashwater is situated between Holsworthy
( Northwest Devon ) and Launceston ( Cornwall ).
The village has a shop / post office, a school, several places of worship and a Village Inn. The Inn is positioned alongside the green, which is central to the village and boasts views of both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor.
Caravanners dining in the Inn can choose to eat in the restaurant, which offers a varied menu including several special fish dishes and fresh Devonshire ingredients. or have a pub meal in the bar. Alongside the good selection of wines, the traditional Devon pub offers 5 real ales mostly from the local area like ‘Exmoor Ale’.

The site offers 1 acre of peace and tranquillity with lovely views of the surrounding countryside and is bathed in sunshine most of the day.
As this is an Adult (16+) only site you should be able to relax and enjoy undisturbed the sounds of the countryside.

Travelling along the path to the site you will pass on one side a paddock with chickens running free and on the other side several friendly sheep or horses may greet you.
Dogs are welcome on the site but we must insist that they are kept on a leash at all time especially with having animals so close by. Electric hook-ups are also available. |

Holsworthy with a weekly Pannier market held in the town square – is well worth visiting. For those who are looking for a more active pastime there is an indoor swimming pool, sports hall, golf course and bowling green. Or you may choose to visit Roadford Lake - just a 5 min drive from the Sunny Pooh Corner caravan site - which offers sailing, brown trout fishing, Devon Cream teas and lovely walks around the lake plus a host of seasonal activities throughout the year. |

A 10 min drive brings you to the ‘hilltop’ town of Launceston, once the ancient capital and
gateway to Cornwall. On the top of the hill is
the Mediterranean style castle built by the 1st Norman and Earl of Cornwall in the 12th century. The surrounding countryside can be easily
admired from the Launceston Steam Railway running to New Mills during the tourist season

Award winning Woodovis Park is a small 5 Star Holiday Park, set in the beautiful and tranquil surroundings of the Tamar Valley, which is classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are very close to the border of Devon and Cornwall, and midway between both the North and South coasts.
Woodovis Park is a family run Holiday Park and is situated in some of England's most beautiful countryside on the border of Devon and Cornwall. The park is at the end of a splendid half mile avenue of beech trees, well away from the road and the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The park consists of 14 acres which nestle in a sheltered wooded position on the edge of the Tamar Valley, and is an ideal place for a peaceful holiday or to use as a base from which to explore Dartmoor and the surrounding area.

Woodovis Park has 50 generously sized pitches for tents, trailer tents, caravans
and motor homes. These are split into
two touring fields, the Top Field and
the Tamar View Field. |

The whole Park is bordered by beautiful trees and hedges. (One wee small tot tells us there are 364 trees in all!!??) The Top Field allows you to be very close to the facilities and children's play area, whilst the Tamar View Field offers a more spacious feeling backing on to the wooded dog walk.
The washroom facilities have been classed as exceptional by the Tourist Board, with free hot showers, hairdryers and a private bathroom with baby changing area.
We take great pride in the cleanliness of all of our facilities, as campers ourselves, we understand that that is one of the most important aspects of a park!

All of the touring pitches have free
electric hook-up and are suitable for tents touring caravans, trailer tents or motor homes. We have some fully and
semi hardstanding pitches
available too. |
Other facilities include; free freezer pack service, motor home grey waste dump and water point, chemical disposal, free electric hook-up to all pitches, water points, covered and indoor dishwashing points.
Our well stocked shop and off-licence stocks most things you will need when on your holiday. You could start your day with fresh baked bread, croissants or pain au chocolat, still warm from the oven.

is a great place to feel pampered

Relax while your children play in our safe wood-chipped play area. We also have a mini-golf course and a games room with air hockey and other games.
No worries packing for a long holiday, we have coin operated washing machines and dryers and free use of the ironing facilities.

Welcome to this lovely, peaceful camping facility where you can be assured of warm personal care and attention. There are 120 pitches available for any mix of touring caravans, motor homes, trailer tents and tents.
Included in our charges is free use of a hard tennis court, children's enclosed play area,
table tennis and games' room (no slot machines), a quiet room with television and comprehensive library, a large recreation
green for leisure facilities (in the interest of health and safety, football and hard ball games are prohibited throughout the whole park),
a plentiful supply of picnic tables and 2 permanent barbecue facilities.

Hook-up pitches are situated along various boundaries and some copses
Multi-service pitches of a limited number are situated in a specific area

Five all-year round fully serviced pitches on hard-standing. These are situated
on the upper park area.
All pitches are on a level plain with parking alongside for one car. Extra cars
must be kept in the parking area Please display our camping tags which
