Whitehill Country Park was formerly the home of the famous Primley stud. As befits a rural location, the surrounding countryside is unspoilt and still used as farm land. The stables and barns have been converted into a bar, family room, cafe, disco and games room, yet none of the original atmosphere has been lost.
Surrounded by beautiful rolling South Devon hills, In addition to our touring facilities we can offer a choice of one, two or three bedroom caravans. Book early; we would hate to disappoint you. Our static caravans provide superb accommodation for your holiday. Clean and comfortable, your caravan is fully serviced and checked by our dedicated housekeeping staff before your arrival.
Whitehill Country Park has pitches suitable for touring caravans, motorhomes or tents with a high level of well presented and maintained amenities - free hot water and ample dish washing facilities.
All this, plus a great setting with views across the South Devon countryside.
If you love the piece and quiet of the natural surroundings April, May, June and September are the perfect time for a quieter break. Special offers and low rates for these periods are an irresistible attraction.

Take a step into an area overwhelmed with charm and interest where you can leave behind the hustle and bustle of modern day life.
Tucked away on a 100 acre farm is this newly opened caravan & campsite. The site is 8½ acres which includes a specifically built shower/toilet block, including a family room, a disabled room, a washing up area and a shop.
Allour pitches are super sized pitches of approximately 180m2
The shower block has been designed to try and offer you a little home from home comfort.
Our shop will be stocked with the essentials that you need and the luxuries that you may desire. We have done our best not to disturb the natural beauty of the farm in creating this site, but at the same time provide the things you may expect.
Thirteen pitches all along one hedge are serviced pitches offering water and either 10 or 16amp hookups. Five of these pitches also have hard standings. The pitch nearest the shower block also has a hard standing and 16amp electric and water hookups. Ideal for those who may not wish to walk too far!
Initially we are offering 25 of these super-size pitches, for either caravans, trailer tents, tents or motor homes. An area in the centre of the field is ideal for those on bikes or back-packing who seek a place to lay their weary head.
A large expanse in the adjoining field has been put aside as a play area where
children can run and be free.
The site is tucked away from hustle and bustle down a lane just over half a mile long, but at the same time is only about 10 minutes from the main A30.
Ourshop with the reception area is nearest to the entrance gates. Beside this we have an under cover area for you to wash up.
There is also a family room for those who need it.
For the pitches that do not have their own water there are stand pipes situated in the grounds. There is also a chemical waste disposal area.
A road has been built around the pitches so as to minimise driving
on slippy grass.
Around the edge of the field are many magnificent trees, some fenced off and some are not. In these trees many different birds nest and some squirrels can be seen. Under the trees some rabbit burrows can also be found. In the interest of our wildlife we do ask that children refrain from climbing the trees. It does however mean that which ever pitch you have you will be able to enjoy the nature and tranquillity of the farm.
Theladies and gents rooms are all very spacious with the ladies loos having individual wash hand basins in each.
The showers are all plenty big enough
for you to shower and change in
each cubicle.
Both areas have more basins with
mirrors and shelving over.
We have a room designed for the disabled or those who just need a
rail to steady themselves.
Due to the size of the pitches you will be able to experience the harmony of the country side, while at the same time enjoy the wonderful views across Dartmoor and surrounding area including glimpses of the beautiful Roadford Lake only a couple of miles away.
