Golden Sands is new to Park Holidays UK but it feels like it’s been part of the group for years and families have been enjoying their holidays at Golden Sands for years. Our holiday guests seem to come back year after year and many are on first name terms with our team members.

Yes, we have an amazing programme lined up for 2009. It’s exclusive and a first for us - we’re the only caravan holiday park operator where you can see the winning stars of X Factor perform live. The X Factor winner plus the ten X Factor runners-up will give live performances on selected dates at some of our holiday parks during 2009. Twelve Oaks Farm, a working farm of nearly 250 acres, specialising in Charolais beef cattle, is bordered by the River Teign and on the edge of the village of Teigngrace. We have both caravan park and holiday cottage facilities for you to enjoy.

Set in quiet rural surroundings there is no main road outside the site, leaving you to enjoy a peaceful sleep and reassuring you of road safety for the children.

Twelve Oaks our touring park is open
all year. We have all weather hard standings, also hard grass for the
summer months. We have electric
and T.V. hook up to most of the park.
We have a laundry, small shop, calorgas on-site and also a selection of our own meat and fresh farm eggs.

We have a separate field for rallies with thirty temporary electric hook ups. The field is slightly sloping with enough room for fifty plus caravans. We also have a function room with stage tables and chairs for you to do your own thing. We have had New Year rallies and holiday rallies as well as week end rallies. In addition to all the farm animals to see, our very own Heated swimming pool is ideal for all the family to enjoy and a wonderful place to relax and have fun.
(all children must be accompanied by an adult)

Twelve Oaks provide 2 well stocked lakes for your coarse fishing enjoyment. Upper Lake provides mixed species fishing for Roach, Perch, Carp & Tench with carp weights into double figures.

Lower lake provides fishing for Carp & Tench only with fish again into double figures.

Fishing is FREE to residents of the Caravan park and Holiday cottages, who are in possession of a valid Rod Licence.

Stover Country Park - A short walk from the farm leads to Stover Country Park where wildlife abounds in and around the lake.For the sports person there is an 18 hole Golf Course (1 mile) and riding (2 miles).Passing through Teigngrace is "The Templar Way". It is a popular route for walkers, some 18 miles long, from Teignmouth on the coast to the rocky heights of Haytor Rock on the moor. Part of the route passes very close to the Caravan park, making it an ideal spot to join the Way for a short of medium distance walk.

Although the Templar Way is not specifically recommended for cyclists, there are numerous cycle routes from the park on quiet roads or specific cycle tracks.
The market town of Newton Abbot, historical Bovey Tracey and Totnes and the coastal towns of Teignmouth and Torquay, are all within easy reach to make your holiday different everyday!
