Wheal Rodney Holiday Park
Gwallon, Marazion, Cornwall, TR17 0HL
Tele: 01736 710605 - Email:

Nestling in the countryside, surrounded by farmland, yet only a half mile walk from the beautiful seaside town of Marazion, and the world renowned St Michael's Mount, Wheal Rodney is a quiet, small park, offering bed and breakfast, ten modern self catering bungalows, and 30 touring and camping pitches, along with campers facilities, laundry, and a warm indoor swimming pool.

Close to bus routes, the coastal footpath, cycle path, and easily accessible from the railway station at Penzance, Wheal Rodney is an ideal location for those wishing to explore this wonderful area, on foot or by car

At the left of our site entrance is pitch number 1, which is a very popular pitch with regular guests, being completely by itself and looking across open fields towards Marazion. (although normally let to just one family this pitch has two electric hook-up points and is spacious enough to take two caravans if friends wish to stay together)

Our meadow has eighteen sheltered marked pitches for tents. Two extra large pitches are available for those with the new style bungalow tents. BBQ's are allowed as long as they are kept off the grass (bricks available at reception!).

At the right of the entrance is a grassed area containing a further six pitches. Looking out from these pitches the area directly behind the boundary of Wheal Rodney holiday park is farmland, looking across towards Trencrom Hill, which is the highest point in the district of Penwith (pictured), and from its other side, overlooks St. Ives, which is just 4.5 miles from Wheal Rodney as the crow flies.

Close to the amenities block (which houses reception, the indoor swimming pool, shower blocks and the laundry) is a grassed area containing a further five pitches. These are ideal for those with small children or anyone wishing to be close to the facilities.

On site facilities include: Well kept, clean, shower/toilet facilities open 24 hours a day; Free hot water, for showers and dishwashing; Laundry with washing machines, tumble dryers and ironing facilities; Free Ice Pack Service; Microwave oven for campers use Free Battery and mobile phone charging; Elsan Point; Warm indoor heated pool is free of charge for our guests to use; and Reception has tourist information and a small shop sells basic supplies. Wi-fi internet access is now available for a small weekly charge - bring your laptop!

Marazion lies on the shores of Mount's Bay which has officially been acclaimed as one of the most beautiful bays in the world. It is a fantastic place to spend a holiday with so much to see and do all close at hand. There are good transport links including the train station at Penzance and a good regular bus service to surrounding areas. There is even a Heliport at Eastern Green, Penzance, where you can take a trip to The Isles of Scilly with British International Helicopters.

There are so many places to visit, and things to do, it would not do justice to try and place all the information here. There are also excellent selection of places to eat out in Marazion.

This is a quiet, clean family park perfect for those who appreciate the beauty and tranquility of the Cornish countryside and coastline. A major attraction of Kenneggy is the proximity of the South West coast path, with its abundance of wild flowers and the white sands of Kenneggy beach.

This is the ideal park for those seeking peace, quiet and beautiful
views.

The pitches are uncrowded, mostly level and suited to touring caravans
campervans and tents.

Pitches are generously spaced and enhanced by occasional areas of
attractive shrubs and trees. Many
but not all have electric hook-ups
should you require one

If you are seeking an attractive park from which to explore West Cornwall
then we are in the ideal position. Being close to Penzance you have the opportunity to take a day trip to by helicopter, plane, or ship to the
Isles of Scilly, to explore The Lizard or to discover the little
known Roseland peninsula.
