Greybull KOA - Greybull, WY
The Bighorn Basin surrounding this KOA was once a real Jurassic Park. Marvel at 170-million-year-old dinosaur footprints in the sandstone of Red Gulch Dinosaur Track Site. An hour’s drive south near Thermopolis, fossil digs are still under way at the Wyoming Dinosaur Center, and its museum houses several skeletons. Nearby, view buffalo and take a dip in the soothing waters of the world’s largest hot mineral springs at Hot Springs State Park.

Jackson South / Hoback Junction KOA - Jackson, WY
All Kamping Kabins overlook the Snake River at this dreamy mountain campground shaded by giant cottonwoods and spruces. Several tent sites border the river and Horse Creek. Looking for something even more unusual? Spend the night in a teepee! Whitewater raft trips on the Snake set out from this KOA five times daily. (Groups of eight or more can even sign up for a dinner raft trip.) If horseback riding is more your style, rides leave from right next door. Afterward, hike the Granite Hot Springs trail southeast of the campground to soak in the steamy natural pools at trail’s end.

Big Horn Mountains Campground - Buffalo, WY
Wyoming's closest campground to the beautiful Bighorn Mountains! Fishing, hunting, hiking, bicycling, abundant wildlife and scenery for photographing, golf, museums, historical sites, local entertainment and restaurants, and "Best of the West" shopping nearby! Adjacent to the Clear Creek Walking/Bicycling Trail.

Buffalo KOA Kampground - Buffalo, WY
RVs are welcome with a range of sites available. From low cost backins to standard pull thrus and up to the Deluxe RV sites which include full fencing, patio, BBQ and even a spa! The Buffalo KOA is the only campground between Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore with RV sites designed for motor homes towing cars or trailers. Given the success of our deluxe sites we have now built Patio sites as well. Cable is available at selected sites and should be requested when booking.

Hunters are welcome at the Buffalo KOA RV park and camp ground.

Indian Campground - Buffalo, WY
Indian Campground in Buffalo, Wyoming is located halfway between Mount Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park, at the junction of I-90 and I-25. We are an ideal stopping off point to visit the beautiful Bighorn Mountains and Historic Bozeman Trail sites. We are also at the point where these two interstates meet up with the Cloud Peak Scenic Byway (also known as Highway 16). Easy off and easy on -- just 1/2 block west of I-25's exit 299. This is the shortest, safest and most scenic route to Yellowstone Park -- with the least grade for those big outfits.

Wind River RV Park - Riverton, WY
One of the finest places to park a "rig" is the Wind River RV Park. Based on one rating scale, it ranked in the top 28 in the United States and in another, it was named the best in Wyoming. In 1999 it rated as one of the top 17 parks nationally. That's why Joe Pepper, Park Manager said, he has a return business rate of 22 percent.

The park started a few years ago by a couple from California and can take up to 60 RV's. Pepper said it has showers "nicer than many people have at home," cable TV, a commercial laundromat, the maximum amount of electricity for power hookups.


Rock Springs KOA - Rock Springs, WY
From a lawn chair right at your campsite, you might see one of the bands of wild horses that roam the Red Desert surrounding Rock Springs. The orange and purple sunrises and sunsets rival the majesty of the free-roaming herds. Your horses are welcome at the Rock Springs KOA too; board them in the two corrals. Exercise the family dog in two enclosed pet walks - and then exercise yourself on the hiking and biking trails. The campground also includes a swimming pool, adults-only hot tub, video game room, playground, basketball, horseshoes and tetherball.

Casper KOA - Casper, WY
Deer and antelope still play near the Casper KOA. More than 75 percent of the world’s pronghorn antelope live within a 90-mile radius of Wyoming’s second largest city. In many places, the Plains looks unchanged from the days when the Oregon, Mormon, Bridge, Bozeman and Pony Express trails converged here along the North Platte River. Trail ruts are still visible. Take the campground’s free shuttle to the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center. Nearby, browse pioneer exhibits at the Fort Casper Museum and Historic Site. KOA is close to Teton International’s fifth - wheel factory - stop by for weekday tours.
