Green Mountains
Camping on the Battenkill - Arlington, VT
Within the 35 acres of the campground there are 48 sites in hardwoods, 37 in a partially wooded area, and 18 in our meadow. Our generously spaced graveled sites are suited to tent camping as well as RV camping. Tents sites are available with no hook-ups or with water and electric. Trailers sites are available with water and electric or with water, electric and sewer hookups. Some sites, located on the river, are considered prime sites and are booked quickly for the summer months for week long stays. Group camping is available in our field area. No motor cycles, mini bikes or mopeds are allowed beyond the office.

The Battenkill is known as one of the best trout streams in the East. The challenge is in landing the native trout that reside in the stream. Swimming in the campground is done at the natural swimming hole in the Battenkill where the water is clear and refreshing. For little children who need a quiet area for swimming, there is supervised swimming in the local recreational park, located 1000 feet from the campground. Many campers enjoy bringing their own tubes or canoes and floating down the river. Children and adults alike enjoy our open field for playing ball games, swinging on the swings, or digging in the sand pile.

Nearby attractions include the Connecticut River for swimming, boating, canoeing and fishing. There are several marinas in the area for boat launching. Santa's Land is just up the road on US Route 5 offering family fun for young and old. Short drive to shopping and restaurants. There are several golf courses in the area as well as tennis courts.


Brattleboro North KOA - East Dummerston, VT
Tucked among the hills of the Connecticut River Valley in southeastern Vermont, the Brattleboro North KOA strives to live up to its motto of “clean, quiet and comfortable.” RV sites are shaded, level and grassy, all with barbecue grills. Walker Farm is next door for fresh corn and vegetables. Wi-Fi is free. A swimming pool, game room, pirate ship and sandbox keep the kids happy. Buy Vermont products at the campground store. Kenolie Villiage Campground - Newfane, VT

Kenolie Village Campground is a family camping area. The campground is owned and operated by family members.

We have different activities each weekend. Some of the activities are Bingo, BBQs and Dances. Some of the campers wanted activities during the week so we have game night, exercise groups and pot lucks. There are also many activities that go on in the town of Newfane and in nearby towns. Newfane has a flea market on Sundays and other towns regularly have church suppers.

Kenolie Village offers river swimming within walking distance on the West River. Many of our campers swim, canoe, raft, fish, and play there too. There is a deep area for swimmers and a more shallow area for small children.
