Jack's Landing Resort - Hillman, MI
Jack's Landing is one of the original resorts on Fletcher Pond. Known to some as Fletcher's Floodings it began when the Alpena Power Co. built a dam across the Thunder Bay River and started flooding over 9,000 acres of marsh land in 1932.

Today Fletcher Pond is loaded with stumps, weeds and heavy cover over the entire lake making it a perfect fish habitat. This same feature renders it unusable for jet skis and large power boats making it one of the most peaceful lakes to fish in Michigan. The lake is well known for it's monster pike and bass and also holds a great number of perch and panfish. Six pound bass are caught every year with pike in the 30 inch class a common site. .
